Our Story

I created Beach Bubble out of frustration with traditional beach shade options. My family and I have fair skin and have always needed to be extra cautious about sun exposure. In fact, every three months, my mother visits the dermatologist for routine checkups. Appointments that too often result in minor surgeries to remove potential skin cancer spots.

Even with those challenges, the beach has always been a special place for us. Like so many others, it’s where we’ve made countless memories and enjoyed meaningful time with loved ones. But enjoying the beach safely was never easy. All beach shades have a major flaw, as the sun moves, the shade moves. Other than that, I was tired of dealing with beach shades that were flimsy, inconvenient, or simply didn't provide enough shade.

After years of dealing with sunburns and inadequate beach shade solutions, I was determined to change that. I bought a sewing machine, rolled out some fabric, and began experimenting. After countless trials with different  materials, sewing techniques, and prototypes, I finally landed on the ideal solution: a breathable, durable fabric paired with an innovative design.

That’s how Beach Bubble was born.
